Early in the morning, women of the village came to the Katnaghbyur, where they lit candles and prayed. They washed the ref out of their cows and buffalo with sacred water of the Katnaghbyur to provide an abundance of milk. Then a shepherd came up to them and took the animals to the pasture, and the women sat down for a meal and sang songs. For the same purpose, an abundance of milk in the village was thrown into the water by cows.
Katnaghbyur did not only help women to have more milk, but also treated various diseases. The rivers of it were called springs of immortality. They are mentioned in the songs, which are sing on the feast of the Epiphany.
When the children found it difficult to walk, they turned to the Katnaghbyur to help them to overcome this issue.
The exceptional attitude of Armenians to the Katnaghbyur is also evidenced by the monument-spring, built in 1967 in the courtyard of the Etchmiadzin Cathedral in honor of the miraculous Katnaghbyur.

The company produces drinking spring water, fizzy drinks and therapeutic water with the addition of iodine and selenium according to the technical reglaments of the EAS. The therapeutic water is suggested for everyday use to prevent future heart, upper respiratory tract, thyroid, kidneys, etc.
